Helping OB nurse moms survive nights + thrive at home through regulation, organization, and restoration.

You know that moment…

When you walk through the door after a long shift and your brain is still at work but your body is exhausted and yet somehow, wired? You want to be a patient and present mom—but the everyone needs you right now. And you’re freaking tired and hungry.

So you do what most every other night-shift mom does: you push through. You tend to whoever/whatever needs tending in the moment, you put your needs aside, holding every reminder in a “mental sticky note” and tell yourself you’ll get to it “later”.

And then later doesn’t come. Because you’ve gone to bed and before you know it it’s time to wake up in the middle of the day and everyone and everything needs your attention once more.

Sound familiar? Yea girl. Hi, my name is Aileen and I am a Registered Nurse and Certified Coach. I created Called to Care Coaching along with a Nurse Renewal System to answer these nagging questions: am I just broke? will I ever catch up? will our house just always be in chaos? The answer is no. With the right support and systems, you too can live as semi-functional as the day shift nurses on your unit.

Because here’s the thing, night-shift isn’t just a schedule. It’s a whole lifestyle—one that can quietly turn into survival mode if your home, routines, and support aren’t built for it.

You’re not failing. You’re attempting to function in a system that was never designed for the way you live and work. I now coach night-shift nurse moms—especially those in women’s health, like myself—who are tired of feeling like they’re always behind. Together, we build a way of living that actually fits night-shift.

It’s by no means perfect (nothing is) but it’s also not a “do more, wake up earlier” system. It’s a personalized plan that we build together to withstand days when you’re on back-to-back night shifts, when sleep is unpredictable, and when life just keeps life-ing.

If this feels or sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

“Aileen lovingly challenged me and gave me perspectives I had never seen before. She helped me create real action steps and held me accountable. I came face-to-face with parts of myself I’d been avoiding, and while the work wasn’t always easy, it was exactly what I needed. I’m walking away more self-aware, with goals that truly align with my core values. She is profoundly insightful, and I can’t thank her enough.”
